Installation:

1. The CDLF vertical stainless steel multistage centrifugal pump should be installed vertically on the ground. Ensure that there is sufficient cold air to enter the motor cooling fan during installation. The bottom arrow of the pump indicates the direction of perfusion through the pump.

2. In order to minimize the noise generated by the pump, it is best to install anti-vibration fixtures on both sides of the pump and between the foundation and the pump body. Butt flanges, gaskets, bolts, PJE associates are available as accessories and must be ordered separately. If necessary, when installing, repairing or replacing the pump, install isolation valves on both sides of the pump to prevent system drainage. Multi-stage centrifugal pump installation pipelines should avoid air blockage, especially on the suction side of the pump. The pipe should be installed such that any stretching caused by temperature changes does not affect the pump. If the pump is mounted on a long tube, it should be properly supported in front of and behind the unit.

3. If the multi-stage centrifugal pump is in danger of being blocked by stones, leaves, small branches, etc., measures should be taken to prevent such things from happening. Install the strainer on the suction pipe.

4. In some installation situations, the drain pipe has been installed horizontally, or the pump is inclined downwards, then the water in the pump will or must be drained some time. The pump should be protected from the impeller. . This can be avoided by installing a bad tube with a vacuum valve near the pump. The highest point of the loop should be at least flush with the connection plate of the motor of the pump. This allows the drain to drain separately from the pump and vice versa.

5. When the drain valve is closed, the pump is prohibited from running because it will cause an increase in the temperature/vapor formation in the pump, resulting in damage to the pump. If there is any danger in the operation of the pump when the drain is closed, use a bypass or drain to the outlet so that a minimum amount of liquid is required to flow through the pump.
